With a nostalgic soft spot for Woody and his home, I was delighted to be approached by East Anglia’s premier theme park, Pleasurewood Hills, to provide descriptions for 35 of the park’s rides. The key to the copy was making the rides sound exciting whilst providing essential information, such as speed and height restrictions, and building a sense of anticipation as visitors get a glimpse of what this firm family favourite has to offer.
It was a privilege to provide over 250 product descriptions for swimwear specialists, Speedo. The challenge lay in describing the same item, with just a minor tweak such as logo colour or position, in multiple different ways to provide unique content for each product. The descriptions I produced have now been featured all around the web, not only on Speedo’s website but also on those of retailers such as Amazon, Very.co.uk and John Lewis.
With new products released regularly, local and long-standing electrical retailer Snellings needed some product descriptions that would match the quality and innovation of the products they supply. From brands such as Bosch and Miele and for products ranging from washing machines to headphones, we produced content that highlighted the products’ USP’s, focusing on how their benefits would make consumers’ lives easier, whether it was saving time, energy or giving an enhanced user experience.
When it comes to making the ordinary sound extraordinary, we really pushed out all the stops to produce a long list of product and category descriptions for Crown Supplies, one of the UK’s premier suppliers of catering and kitchen equipment. From making ice machines exciting to selling the benefits of bakeware and getting creative with catering equipment, our product descriptions helped make practical items appealing whilst satisfying search engines. The seamless inclusion of keywords and phrases help Crown Supplies compete when it comes to the products they offer.
